Method 1: Salt Water and Rubbing Alcohol (recommend)

In a small bowl mix 4 cups warm water with 1 tablespoon salt and mix until the salt is dissolved. Add 1 tablespoon of 90% isopropyl rubbing alcohol and stir to mix the solution. Remove the screen and place your crystal pipe in the solution making sure the liquid gets inside of the pipe. Let soak for 15-20 minutes. Remove the pipe and use a pipe or straw brush to loosen any resin. Rinse the pipe thoroughly with warm water, pat dry with a towel. Repeat as needed. Allow your crystal pipe to air dry for an hour or two.

Method 2: Warm Water and Dish Soap

In a small bowl mix 4 cups warm water with 2-4 drops of dish soap, mix well. Remove the screen and place your crystal pipe in the solution making sure the liquid gets inside of the pipe. Let soak for 15-20 minutes. Remove the pipe and use a pipe or straw brush to loosen any resin. Rinse the pipe thoroughly with warm water, pat dry with a towel. Repeat as needed. Allow your crystal pipe to air dry for an hour or two.
